Preservation of a life form
8 x 16 x 1 A 50,000,000 year old fish skeleton of a Mioplosus "Mioplosus labracoides" fossilized and unearthed from the Green river formation in Wyoming USA. This exceptionally well preserved was professionally prepared and exposed to make a plaster copy and cast forever in glass. A way of viewing the 3 dimensionality through a transparent watery like material to suggest its environment while it was alive and stone-like to emphasize its fossilization in one material. Soda lime glass.
