28 x 14 x 7     A single cast glass American Lotus Pod (Nelumbo Lutea) rests in a vessel, in the style of ikebana. An electric neon greeen zigzag encircles the lotus, tracing the path of the cast glass monarch butterfly's path (Danaus plexippus). Both the cast monarch and the lotus pod are coated with a dichroic metal oxide. The glass vessel is blown and etched, and the plinth it rests upon consists of a sheet of mirropane float glass laminated on a hot casted glass block
