Smooth Serpentine Starfish on Mediterranean Mussels

9 x 8 x 8     Inspired by the few starfish still present in the Venetian lagoon (where I live) many times attached to groups of mussels, which are found in the chains that attach urban elements of man to the seabed. Many times the chains corroded by the salt that fall to the seabed are a perfect habitat for certain organisms. The revenge of the inhabitants of the sea is a continuous challenge that sees the marine presences as the winner with its inhabitants, it is not yet known for how many years. With this work I want to highlight for those who do not see what it means a simple chain at the bottom of the sea invaded by mussels and vegetation .
