9 x 10 x 9     The Octopus, a versatile creature and master of camouflage with great intelligence, is a true inspiration. Here she uses her mimicry, changing her pigment, as she dances upon an apple. The piece is hot sculpted and blown glass. The stem is flameworked glass and the apple is sandblasted. I choose the common octopus, Octopus vulgaris, as my model.
