Initiated as a self-challenge, this piece was far different from any of my previously Stained Glass Sculptures. But to call the project complete it would need detail, requiring it to be of fair size. The obvious challenge was building a structure of strength from otherwise spindly looking glass legs. This was accomplished by incorporating copper wire into the construction to provide additional support and flexibility rather than rigidity.
