The Four Gracious Plants in East Asian art refer to the plum, orchid, chrysanthemum, and bamboo. Among them, bamboo has been recognized as a symbol of integrity and loyalty due to its evergreen nature and upright growth. Inspired by ink wash painting, black bamboo was created using the lampworking technique. The gradation of color was expressed by mixing black colored glass with transparent glass.
