We are a collaborative team of glass sculptors that create sculpture and installation art to express narratives about social and environmental stewardship.  Our material explorations transform glass into depictions of the natural world, to call attention to the precarious state of the environment and its interconnectedness with humankind.  It is a reminder that what we do has impact – often unforeseen and unmeasured – on our lives, those around us, and the earth.  We utilize wind and ocean currents as metaphors to express how quickly life can change, altering our path and our future in an instant.

For this piece, we combined a handblown glass alarm bell, with pate de verre leaves blowing in the wind.  The decay in the leaves reflect the cycle of life, our impermanence, and the passage of time.  The inclusion of the alarm bell is to reference the climate crisis, and the denial of some about the state of emergency that exists.
